Wikileaks: Kenyan Leaks Update

The US government has moved to deny claims that it was planning to destabilize the Kenyan government by mobilizing youths around the country through programs disguised as empowerment projects. The claims were made by government spokesman Dr Alfred Mutua and Prime Minister Raila Odinga did indeed confirm that questions had been raised about the Us embassy’s program but insisted that such initiatives could not bring down the grand coalition government. On his part US Ambassador Michael Ranneberger said there was nothing sinister about the youth empowerment project saying it was infact beneficial to the Kenyan government. Hussein Mohamed reports.
